| LJ Username Change |
[Aug. 5th, 2005|11:07 pm] |
Hey guys. I've been away for a while, mostly due to a lack of time-management skills (and of time itself to manage, for that matter), but also because I've been feeling kind of Blah about fandom. I'm sure everyone gets that way once in a while.
Anyhow, I've decided to rejoin fandom, but using a different username. The reason for this is that, while I'm still interested in Lord of the Rings, and will never fully abandon it... well, the truth is that right now I'm more interested in Harry Potter. So I've made a new journal, enabsevol, that will be for both LotR and HP, as well as anything else I find interesting, or anything personal. I felt that I should make a new one and transfer over because when I started fandom, this journal was solely for LotR hobbit-centric stuff. I just want anyone who wants to drop me to be able to do so gracefully, and whatnot.
So, yeah. If you'd like to go friend me there, I'd love that, because I still am interested in hobbity stuff, and in my friendslist here. And if not, that's cool too, because things change with people and all. And if I friend you with the new journal, I won't be offended at all if you don't friend back.
I won't be deleting anna_burrows, but I'll probably clear out my friendslist and I definitely won't post here anymore. RE the new journal, I probably won't post right away or make a lot of changes, because I'm still working and getting ready to move in the fall. I just though I might as well do this now, rather than put it off. |

| Five Things That Never Happened to Frodo Baggins |
[Mar. 26th, 2005|09:12 pm] |
I was looking through my old files the other day and came across this. I got the idea from danachan and her brilliantly written Five Things That Never Happened to Peregrin Took. My plan was to write one for Frodo; there would be five parts with exactly 500 words each. I only got through one part before forgetting about it, but I thought I'd post it here anyway, for those who are interested. This first part is what might have happened if Bilbo had taken the ring. Hopefully one day soon I'll finish the other four parts.
Title: Five Things That Never Happened to Frodo Baggins Author: Anna Burrows Disclaimer: Not Mine. Rating: PG (this part) Word Count: 500 WARNINGS: AU, character death, no happy ending, WIP

| Ficlet: Requiem |
[Mar. 13th, 2005|10:50 pm] |
Have been depressed and uber busy. Wrote this today; it's short, sad, and probably crap, since it's not beta-d and written in like a 5 minute fit of passion. Read at your own risk.
Title: Requiem Author: Anna Burrows Rating: G Disclaimer: Not Mine.

Hello! Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. I've got a fic for you today.
Title: Foundations of Stone Author: Anna Burrows Pairing: Frodo/Sam Genre: Prequest, slight angst Rating: NC-17 Summary: Frodo’s lonely. Sam comforts him. Disclaimer: Not mine. I certainly wish they were, but sadly, no. Not even a little. Warning: Slash, but I doubt anyone here needs a warning for that. Slightly AU in terms of ages: more movie-verse, I guess, but even then it’s a little skewed for Merry and Pippin. Author's Note: Hugs and huge thanks to shirebound, my wonderful beta. :)

[Sep. 22nd, 2004|01:56 am] |
Happy Birthday to the ringbearers!
To celebrate, I have a double drabble. Sorry, no smut in this one. Next time, I promise. 'Tis my first fanfic, so talk to me: I'd love to find out how to make my writing better.
Title: Patience Author: Anna Burrows Pairing: Frodo/Sam Rating: G Disclaimer: Not mine
( It seems like Frodo is always waiting for Sam. ) |
